We bought a home that had these incredible travertine floors throughout... only the previous owners had multiple pets who just trashed the floor. I did a Google search and found Stone Surface Specialists. Called and the next day Shane stopped by my house. He had a cancellation and was able to work me in the next day! (We were trying to get a ton of work done before we moved in, so it was great that we were able to stick to our schedule.) Honestly, no DIY kit could have ever yielded the results Stone Surface Specialists gave us. Our floor looks absolutely amazing!! They did a shiny finish so it honestly looks like it belongs in a museum. I am so impressed. The price was good too- I mean, it was more expensive than my DIY kit for sure, but the results are worth every penny. Very honest and professional and I really appreciate the work they did for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I'm keeping their contact info in my phone so I can call in a few years and have them come out and touch up the high traffic areas!

GREAT JOB ON SMALL REPAIR! We had a chip in a granite countertop that they fixed and you cannot tell the difference. Tracy arrived on-time, finished quickly, and cleaned up the work area.

I am very glad I looked into this and did it- looks great. The porch is a nice place to be now instead of somewhat of an embarrassment. The concrete surface is polished so smooth it actually reflects light from the porch lights.

Our stone (Travertine) flooring was looking dull and had marks in the finish. They returned our initial call quickly and gave us a ballpark estimate over the phone. They sent someone on the appointed day to tell us what options they recommended for our floor and give us an exact quote to do the work. He started to work immediately and within two days the project was complete. Our floor looks better than it did when the stone was initially installed. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

We have a large (5 room) basement, and the floor was covered with poorly-laid slate tile. We didn't know what to do with it, so called in several companies for advice/estimates. Stone Surface gave us the best advice -- to remove all the tile and restore/upgrade the original concrete floor. The owner (Shane) was especially helpful. His workers spent two full days hammering away at the tiles and carting them off to the landfill. There followed another day or two of grinding and cleaning, then Shane applied a beautiful stain to the concrete, followed by a sealant. Because it was 50 year-old concrete, he came back a week later and applied an extra coat of sealant, with a promise to do more if needed. It looks beautiful and we're happy as can be!
