Does Acid-Stained Concrete Fade With Time?

No, the vibrancy and color tone in acid stains do not fade.

However, the physical top layer of concrete which contains the stain can be worn away through use, which can give the appearance of fading. Stone & Surface Specialists can apply a special sealer on your newly-stained concrete to prevent this.

If it’s too late and the surface of your acid-stained concrete has already worn through irreparably (or so it may seem), our concrete-staining experts will be able to restore it with expert color-matching, staining and sealed treatments.

If the damage has been done and your glorious terracotta-marbled concrete is looking more like a washed-out old garden pot, don’t despair – give us a call and we will make a special FREE visit to see what we can do to resurrect your concrete to its former glory – 801 856 0164.
