Tweety-pie is adorable with his cooing and chattering, but then he poops. On your carpet. Nice. Before screaming bloody murder and making a dash for the hills, here’s the lowdown on getting that mess up off your carpet.
For birdy poop on a rug or carpet, pick up as much as you can with paper towels, then spray on a solution of one part white vinegar to two parts cool water. Blot and allow to dry. This will disinfect and de-smelly the area.
If there is a stain left, use a carpet spot-treatment to get the last of it up.
