Concrete Colorant #3: Concrete Dye
As with the above, concrete dyes can be used on concrete new or old, inside or out, although not all dyes are UV-resistant, so you’ll need to check with the manufacturer if you plain to use it outside.
The color options are nearly unlimited, as colors can be mixed and diluted as desired.
Dyes can be solvent-based, which presents its own unique challenges – you don’t want to be succumbing to vapors while trying to stain your concrete, or setting fire to your precious project either.
